meta-fusion & UEG – Since 2006: A Successful Partnership in Congress Webcast

The collaboration with UEG began in 2006 at the annual congress in Berlin. This was soon followed by further events in 2007 (Paris) and 2008 (Vienna). Since then, a continuous and trust-based partnership has developed and grown steadily.

Requirements & Solution

UEG approached us with the request to provide professional media support for their large annual congresses – with a clear focus on the production, processing, and delivery of high-quality webcasts. Back in 2006, content was still being delivered on DVDs; today, of course, everything is fully optimized and delivered for online use.

Over the years, the scope of services has significantly expanded. In addition to the main congress, which took place in various cities such as Vienna, Copenhagen, Barcelona, Stockholm and Amsterdam we have successfully implemented numerous events and formats for UEG’s subgroups (ESGE, ESPGHAN, EAGEN, ESDO, EDS-PC, ESGAR, EFISDS). Many of the recordings were then integrated into the UEG's e-learning platform as widgets in order to further promote the knowledgetransfer.
During the coronavirus pandemic, many virtual formats were of course also set up professionally at UEG at short notice.
